    This Microsoft 20339-1A Training, Part I of the series of 2 courses, is a five-day course that equips individuals with the essential knowledge to plan and administer a Microsoft SharePoint 2016 infrastructure.

    It teaches you to deploy, administer, and troubleshoot your SharePoint environment through the provision of guidelines, hands-on labs, and considerations that will be an aid in optimizing your SharePoint deployment.

    This course is a prerequisite for qualifying the exam of Planning and Administering SharePoint 2016 (70-339-1).

    Microsoft 20339-1A training course is intended for IT professionals who are keen to learn how to install, configure, deploy, and manage SharePoint 2016 installations either in a data center or in the cloud.

    The candidate should possess the minimal qualifications typically:

    • Working knowledge of, and hands-on experience with SharePoint Online.
    • Affinity with SharePoint workloads.
    • Experience working with business continuity management, including data backup, restoration, and high availability.
    • Experience working with authentication and security technologies.
    • Experience working with Windows PowerShell.

    Before taking this course, participants must have knowledge of:

    • Deploying and managing applications natively, virtually, and in the cloud.
    • Software management in a Windows Server 2012 or Windows Server 2012 server environment.
    • Configuring AD DS for use in authentication, authorization, and as a user store.
    • Administering IIS.
    • Managing databases and server roles in SQL Server.
    • Managing an application remotely by using Windows PowerShell 4.0.
    • Using Microsoft Hyper-V virtual machines.
