    THE COURSE

    Advanced Technologies of SharePoint 2016 Training, Part II of the series of 2 courses, is a five-day course that describes how to plan, configure, and manage the advanced features in a SharePoint 2016 environment. The course focuses on topics that include implementing high availability, disaster recovery, service application architecture, and Microsoft Business Connectivity Services.


    After completing the course, professionals are able to acquire the knowledge of business intelligence solutions, Enterprise Content Management, web content management infrastructure, solutions, and apps.


    This course is a prerequisite for qualifying the Advanced Technologies of SharePoint 2016 exam (70-339-2). 

    Module 1: Introduction to SharePoint 2016

    This module describes the core architectural components of a SharePoint Server environment and helps to identify the new depreciated and removed features in SharePoint 2016.

    20339-2A training course is intended for IT professionals who are keen to learn how to install, configure, manage, and deploy SharePoint 2016 installations either in a data center or in the cloud.

    The candidate should possess the minimal qualifications typically:

    • Affinity with SharePoint workloads.
    • Working knowledge of, and hands-on experience with SharePoint Online.
    • Experience working with authentication and security technologies.
    • Experience working with business continuity management, including data backup, restoration, and high availability.
    • Experience working with Windows PowerShell.

    Before taking this course, participants must have knowledge of:

    • Administering IIS.
    • Deploying and managing applications natively, virtually, and in the cloud.
    • Managing databases and server roles in SQL Server.
    • Configuring AD DS for use in authentication, authorization, and as a user store.
    • Software management in a Windows Server 2012 or Windows Server 2012 server environment.
