    macOS Server Essentials 10.12 training is a three-day course that provides knowledge of installing and configuring macOS Server to provide network-based services, such as file sharing, authentication, and printing. This course has been designed for technical coordinators and entry-level system administrators to equip them with the skills, tools, and knowledge in implementing and maintaining a network that uses macOS Server.

    This course provides a combination of lectures and hands-on case study exercises that help to understand the functionalities in a practical real-world environment.

    For participants Enrolled in a Virtual Class:

    Each student will need to set up two (2) computers in order to take the class virtually.

    1. The first can be a PC, tablet or Mac.
    2. The second computer should be a Mac and the participant will need the software (and version) being taught in the course already installed on your computer.

    This setup will allow virtual participants to view the presentation on one computer and do support exercises on the other one.

    Completion of this training course will enable candidates in:

    • Configuring essential services on Server for macOS
    • Utilizing the features of Server 5 for macOS
    • Using Server for macOS tools to monitor and troubleshoot services
    • Using of Server for macOS to manage a small network of Macintosh computers and users
