    This four-day training course provides requisite skills to install, configure and manage the Horizon View component of VMware Horizon. The course is based on the Horizon 6 release. The training will impart foundational knowledge of the domain through completion of hands-on labs and lectures that upgrade their skills to operate on a Horizon View component.

    The Horizon View consists of: 
     

     

    • VMware View Manager
    • VMware View Composer
    • View Security Server

     


    In order to attend this course, participants should be able to perform the following tasks:

     

     

    • Alter a vCenter Server customization specification.
    • Create a template in the VMware vCenter Server system, deploying a virtual machine from the template.
    • Open a virtual machine console in the vCenter Server system and access the guest operating system.
