    It’s a known fact that IT professionals are bound to update their knowledge skills with the recent technologies through Training and Certifications.

    Cyber Security related courses are the ones that are in high demand today.

    Cyber Security is ‘the call of the second’ for the firm irrespective of their size, sector, or have a successful past.

    And, indeed the Cyber Security solutions meet the core value proposition of meeting the clients’ demand, manage the system administration, and get proactively involved in innovative business and operating models.

    And, any aspiring professional would deep dive into this most demanding technology as an advancement in his career growth path.

    However, depending on their work schedule or the load, they have their own plans and schedules to take up the exam as per their convenience.  

    But, when a Certification exam pattern changes, it may create a panic for the candidate who decided to take up the next course date due to the busy schedule and had already prepared as per the existing pattern.

    One of the recent changes in the exam delivery plan that got updated is that of Certified Information System Security Professional [CISSP] that has been effective from 18th December 2017.

    Well, there is nothing to panic about with the recent changes made in the upcoming CISSP certification exam. The candidates who prefer to attend their exam in English are recommended to note these following changes and prepare themselves to attend the exam successfully.

    There is a change in the delivery method of the exam for the candidates who have preferred English as their medium.

    It would be no more a linear or the fixed form as it was earlier, but Computer Adaptive Testing [CAT] from now onwards.

    The highlight of this mode of delivery is the length of the exam is reduced to three hours, and questions to be answered are 100-150. And other parameters remains the same.

    Still, to recapitulate again:

    • Exam duration who have adopted the English language is 3 hours,
    • Delivery method is Computer Adaptive Testing [CAT],
    • Number of questions to answer are 100-150,
    • Question format includes multiple choice and advanced innovative questionnaire,
    • Passing score is obviously 700 out of 1000 points.

    And, mention not to say, the delivery mode would be the same linear form for the candidates opting languages other than English as it was earlier.
