The Software Assurance Training Vouchers are provided by the Microsoft. If your company has purchased the Microsoft software volume licensing agreement, they may be eligible to redeem the Microsoft Software Assurance Training Vouchers and get free training for your employees on the latest Microsoft technologies as applicable.

The number of training days ranges from one to five days based on the qualifying license program.

The process involved to avail the Microsoft Software Assurance Training Vouchers are as follows:

The employee can choose the participating Microsoft Learning partner offering the required course, schedule, and avail the learning benefits. They can earn free Microsoft certification. The voucher is valid for a period of 180 days.

The validity of the Microsoft Software Assurance Training Voucher corresponds to the licensing agreement. Suppose, the agreement is for 3 years, the validity is also of 3 years.
But, once you create the Microsoft Software Assurance Training Voucher for an employee, it has to be redeemed by the employee within 180 days.

Generally, the training voucher created stands for the length of the classroom training. In case, the voucher is for fewer days as the organization may not have the provision to get the additional days, then the difference in days must be paid to the Learning partner.

No, the value of the voucher remains the same for all the courses. One voucher corresponds to one training day.

Not all courses of Microsoft come under SATV.

It is to be noted that not all the Microsoft Learning Partners offer SATV program. And the participating Learning Partners may not offer all the SATV eligible courses.

No, Microsoft Software Assurance Training Vouchers can be used for only the entitled SATV eligible courses.
